A new approach to gas network management

The device of field analysis

GRETA is a modular multi-function system composed of 2 elements:

• A field analysis device. It is a miniature gas chromatographic system, connected directly to the gas network. It performs the same functions as a classic gas chromatograph, with the advantage that it remains installed in the field and allows remote data acquisition at any time.
• A smart SCADA to which data collected on the field by the device is sent. The SCADA processes this data and intervenes on gas treatment processes in real time.

It will no longer be necessary to continuously send an operator to the field to carry out the analyses, thus allowing considerable economic advantages.

The GRETA device can integrate up to 4 gas chromatography modules, each of which analyses different compounds. The compounds detectable by GRETA are:

• Permanent gases
• Sulphur compounds
• Alkanes
• Alkenes
